True, but since I ended up in the hospital overnight Thanksgiving weekend because of shortness of breath and chest pain while splitting wood with a splitting maul there is some concern and urgency. It wasn't a heart attack according to my EKG and blood work but I'm scheduled to see a cardiologist next Friday because of family history on my dads side so I would kind of like to know what I'm in for.

When all this happened I was at Heather's 30 minutes away from the closest hospital with a 45 minute plus response time for an ambulance to get to me.

That's scary. I understand wanting to know as soon as possible. Sounds to me as if you need to stay away from Heather's!

Hope everything turns out OK for you. Untill then I'd buy some pre-split wood!! Hope the doc recommended some low dose 81 mg aspirin to take daily...it seem's like it helps me out.

Thank's guys! I just got off the phone with the Dr's office and the Calcium Scoring CT came back a big fat goose egg no blockages what so ever!

PawPaw this was presplit Elm but some of the chunks are so big/heavy I have a hard time picking some of them up so it's not even a consideration for Heather to try picking them up. Looks like I get to spend money on a new toy for the new toy.

Still going to the Cardiologists next Friday though.....

So far they are not budging on the cost of the explorer, they offered $1000 and dad keep the vehicle. Dad went to his attorney today and he typed up a letter with his letter head and sent it to the insurance company certified. Maybe that will show them he is serious.

I took it yesterday to get a estimate and it came to 5400 dollars. I know dad doesnt expect to get that amount but they need to do better than a grand.
See if you can get a dealership to do a written estimate on the vehicle value (without damages)

It should be able to be fixed because a replacement of like mileage and quality just doesn't exist out there

Just got the call, my brother passed away, he was 65. He had cancer, they had given him a year and he made it 13 months.
