Yep....

The phantom 2 is gps enable and supposed to stay out of no flight zones but evidently the White House doesn't have one....but the phantom 1 lacks that feature

Woke up at 3:45 this morning, couldn't go back to sleep. Finally got up at 5:00 and hit the road before 6:00. I'm running out of gas. Time for some Hernandez chicken fajitas.

Back in Houston, safe and sound! What a great day for a drive -- perfect weather, light traffic and great scenery! Had one little slow-down on Highway 7 through Kennard where they were doing some minor roadwork, but other than that is was set the cruise and drive!

I didn't enjoy the trip quite as much as I hoped to though -- was thinking about a builder I have to call in California tomorrow that's probably not going to be a very fun conversation. God I hate dealing with Californian's -- their perspective about what is right-and-wrong is so convoluted sometimes that you'd swear they were born in another galaxy!

Hoping it won't be as unpleasant of a call as I'm making it out to be.....

I work for a manufacturer of building materials and travel around the country to inspect projects where there is a concern with one of our products. A high percentage of my work is here in Texas because it's such a booming building market, but over the years I've been just about everywhere you can think of in the US.
