Got back from a 3 day camping trip to Grand Isle yesterday evening. We even got to see a Mardi Gras parade down there Sunday evening. Temps were in the mid 70's untill Monday night when a cold front came through and dropped temps into the mid 30's. Took the atv's and did some riding Saturday evening.

Always good to get out of the house and enjoy some time with the family. We're still getting use to the camper so it's a training run also.

Getting ready to pick up my oldest daughter and her 7 yr old at the airport in New Orleans. They're coming back from Houston. Since I'm going to the airport from the West I'll miss the New Orleans traffic with all of the Mardi Gras travelers heading out.

I haven't had to leave Houston all week, which is highly unusual for my job. Looks like next week it will be back to reality -- I'll probably end up traveling to Minnesota for the week, or if that doesn't pan out I have a job to look at over in Louisiana.

Hoping for Louisiana, as it looks like it will be a nice weather week to get out on the highway for a drive!
