Phone rang at 3.00 this morning -- sure enough my flight through Dallas was cancelled because of weather! Next thing you know I'm online rebooking and jumping into the shower to make a 7:00 flight! This week is sure starting off with a bang.....lol

weatherman totally missed it last night.. Up to a inch of ice supposedly and we have about a dozen ice pellets on the cars

We hit 80 yesterday but today is miserable, mid 40's and rainy. At least no ice like in the Northern part of the state.

Today we were discussing the civil war, and one of my students asked me why the "silver" war was only silver and never made it to gold.

Keep in mind, these kids will be eligible to vote in three years.
