That is where I store CDs. If it were not for that compartment, the console would be pretty useless.

Actually, he's a great kid, mature for 15 years old. We bond very well and learn a little from each other. Always hate to see him go home.

We drove to the farm and got there about 4:30, from central Texas. Got in a couple hours fishing, went to the grocery store where they sell hamburgers, ate and then on to the Athens cabin. He is fishing the pond this morning while I work a little.

Another year and he'll be sneaking the keys to the Expedition to take it for a midnight test drive!

I noticed that on the Toyota Tundra I had as a rental vehicle a few weeks back up in Minneapolis -- a massive center seat/console and I could barely fit a pair of sunglasses and my iPhone in it!

He is looking for either an Expedition or a Suburban for his first vehicle. I think he may be hinting for his grandmother's Expedition. He wants a 4 wheel drive if he can find it. A fishing truck.

When I met them at Hearne yesterday, he had his kayak(15 footer) strapped to the top of their Excursion). We moved it over to my truck(he has an extender that goes in the trailer hitch receiver. Works pretty well. At the pond yesterday, he went to get the kayak and he just sat down. When I got there, he started laughing. He had about 20 rods and reels, a massive chest of lures and gear, life preserver, and assorted other stuff. He had forgotten the paddle. We looked around and found a broken limb he was able to use on the pond, since there was no current.

Not sure if we are going back to the farm this afternoon, the Freshwater Fish Hatchery which he wants to tour or to Purtis State Park. We checked out the Nueches River last night and it's out of its banks, no place to fish much.

Thumbs up let's start over

Sold my parent's 2010 Fusion this evening. Listed it on CL this morning and had people calling and texting all day. Maybe 10 or 12 people interested. Sold it to the first guy that contacted me, first guy to come look at it.

Dealer offered them 1/5th of what I sold it for as trade in value.

Some grandparents dread their grandkids. Like my wife's parents
