Busy day today, fellas. Oil change, haircut, picking up a trailer, meeting with a fence company for estimates for the new house, then loading up the trailer. Moving in tomorrow!

any ideals how to keep birds out from under a carport? I guess its that season where they nest like crazy. I drove the SD yesterday to camping world and when I came out there was a huge nest in the tail pipe. Have no ideal how it didnt blow out or catch on fire. Its time for birds to go some where else.

Jim/Pat

I got nine NIB 5.0 motorcraft filters that I'd be willing to make you a deal on if interested. I bought a whole case from Burleson Ford when I had my F150. Figure since you guys are local.

Have you tried tying up some dangling red ribbons that will blow around in the breeze beneath the carport? A lot of times that little bit of movement will be enough to scare the birds away.

I also noticed that my local HEB put up a couple of those plastic owl decoys in the area where birds would congregate beneath their overhang and crap all over the shopping carts. That might be worth a try as well!

When you find out let me know. Have the same problem, when the truck is dirty they don't bother it. When its clean it gets crapped on and they attack the chrome bumper.

Then there is the problem with the 20+ stray cats thanks to our neighbor feeding them.

I tried that a few years ago when we had a damn woodpecker going wild on the carport and house.. Put one up and he pecked the damn owl.

This is the first Monday in a LONG time where I haven't had a business trip or two already set-up for the week! Of course the phone could ring at any moment, but right now I might actually get to stay at home for a spell and get caught up on some of my paperwork.....

Local Kroger put up some Eagles on the roof edge. That worked on the Starlings.
