This is our first freeze of the winter. Leaves are falling like rain.

had a mild wind storm ( 60-70 mph) several days ago. lost most of the leaves then.

Plants are covered. Sure is brisk out there, no wind too. Just cold. Sure was funny seeing all the wimps at work asking me where my coat is. I tell them I was born with a coat on.

Yeah, It's a 2000. Ordered it in August,1999 and it was the first 2000 that Nichols Ford got in. Put over 5000 on it the couple of years, mostly highway, then got a new truck and put all the miles on it. That thing still smells new inside. Possibly because I'm never in it. It's black with the tan interior. Ford built those things pretty well.

So you've never been in it after your regular daily Mexican lunches.

Took Maggie for our late night walk. Yeah, it's much better since the wind died down. She was feeling good turboing around the yard while I swept the patio, but was ready to come in where it's warm.

Yeah, our dogs went out with my daughter and I when we covered the plants. It took us around 10 minutes to wrap them up, and the mutts were ready to go in the warm house.

Speaking of Mexican food, went to Don Pepe's Friday night. First time I have made it for their Friday Fajita Special. Had the chicken and they were excellent. 7.99.
