Punctured a tire on the Cavalier yesterday and once whatever it was that got stuck in my tire came out, the air evacuated so fast that I ended up boogering-up the sidewall and had to trash the tire. Kind of ticked me off since I had a nice matching set of Uniroyal's on it and now I have one "oddball" tire because a Firestone was the only thing I could find on short notice here in town.....

Debating whether I should order another Uniroyal and have it put on next week, or just run with the unmatched set as is until it is time for new tires.....

Same thing happened to me about a week after getting the cavalier. It had a real good set of Kumho's on it with warranty but the warranty was only good at National Tire and Battery and of course we dont have one here, so went to discount and all they had was a 46.00 GT Radial in stock. Went ahead and got it and put the oddball tire in the rear. Put about 16k miles on it and so far so good.

I do love the tire prices for these cars. 4 Michelin Defender 90k miles only come's out to around 400 bucks!

Its suppose to be 70 and sunny today. Figured it would be a great day to clean the truck up. Right now its 49 and misting rain. They have totally missed the forecast all week. 90 percent of rain and storms yesterday with a flash flood watch and it was sunny and not a drop of rain. 2 days ago they said sunny and it rained good.

No heavy rain here yet...just a light drizzle. We're under a flash flood watch because in some area's we've had over 10 inches of rain since Friday.

No requirement to have reflective mirror strips?

My STX came with black plastic filler plate instead of the amber filler plate

Although it is becoming surprisingly difficult to find 15" tires in stock any where!

I'll get my price on them next time I stop in at the dealership. Maybe when I pick up my extra skid plates soon?

Tasca has them for 11.16 Not bad, but pricey for a little slice of plastic
