Let's start over......
Thanks for the grill recommendations! I'll definitely keep them I mind. So far I've looked at Char-Broil and whatnot at Lowes and Home Depot and haven't really fallen in love with any of them. I do have my eye on a really nice Kenmore at Sears, despite the fact that I hate Sears (used to work there many moons ago, lol). I'll check the Weber grills out. I haven't seen any of them yet. Thanks!

When I was looking at them, the grills at Lowe's and Home Depot were slightly different -- I preferred the Home Depot model because of the more traditional cast iron grates, while the ones at Lowe's had stainless tube grates. I'm sure the "guts" of the two units are identical -- pick whichever system you prefer.
I like the Weber's, but simply didn't have $700.00+ to drop on a grill at that time. If I ever get to the point where I can actually wheel my grill inside after using it I might pop for a nicer unit, but since mine will have to sit outside 24/7 for the foreseeable future I'll be content to go the mid-priced route.
FYI -- I am a Sears alum as well -- a high school into early college job! For some odd reason I still have numerous department and stock numbers stuck in my head and 30 years removed feel like I could walk out on the floor and start selling Easy Living paint and Craftsman tools again without missing a beat! But I think I'll pass.....
