I will have to get used to the format and can't moderate on it. The IB app still does not work correctly.

I have one of the Char-Broil Infrareds and I have to say that I have liked that system much better than any gas grill I have ever owned. I got mine at Home Depot several years ago using some gift cards I got by cashing in credit card points and it still works like a charm today. When you consider mine has sat outside and exposed to the elements since Day 1, I am actually surprised by that!

When I was looking at them, the grills at Lowe's and Home Depot were slightly different -- I preferred the Home Depot model because of the more traditional cast iron grates, while the ones at Lowe's had stainless tube grates. I'm sure the "guts" of the two units are identical -- pick whichever system you prefer.

I like the Weber's, but simply didn't have $700.00+ to drop on a grill at that time. If I ever get to the point where I can actually wheel my grill inside after using it I might pop for a nicer unit, but since mine will have to sit outside 24/7 for the foreseeable future I'll be content to go the mid-priced route.

FYI -- I am a Sears alum as well -- a high school into early college job! For some odd reason I still have numerous department and stock numbers stuck in my head and 30 years removed feel like I could walk out on the floor and start selling Easy Living paint and Craftsman tools again without missing a beat! But I think I'll pass.....

I worked for Sears for 6 months during college days. I was in collections for the credit department. I did repo work. Hated it and got out as soon as possible.

Decided to drive the pickup today and glad i did.. Smoked a Hemi Ram by about 2 truck lengths.. He looked a little confused when we pulled up to the next redlight. He took off nice and easy that time
