Yes -- Back in my " School of Mines" days I dated a girl from Sturgis and she hated the rally!

My B-I-L was just out in Spearfish last week for a car show and they were already bracing for the onslaught!

Waiting for the yard to dry out before mowing . Never know when the rain will start in this area.

We really need some rain. Grass is hard to keep alive right now.

Just finished with the yard and it looks like I did just before some thunderstorms start to roll in. Lightning not too far away.

Not here...and we haven't had a hurricane or tropical storm yet this year that can dump 20 inches or more of rain.

I'm working in the center of the state in Pierre this week and motel/hotel rooms are few and far between out this way also....Pierre is still 3 hours away from Sturgis .....

Paint is probably cheaper than water right now down there...

Been keeping a eye on the garage floor and don't have a drop of anything leaking out. So decided to load up the 93 perf tune. Loaded it up and went for a drive. I was down to about 1/8 of a tank so decided to fill up at my favorite place (only place to have 93 octane) Pulled up there and its back down to 91. So no more super fun tune thanks to them.

Bastards!

It was hot at dawn, this morning. Supposed to be 104 in the shade this afternoon. The high the next few days is supposed to be 107.

Heat advisory here, calling for 106 but last few days they have missed it by a couple degrees. So I'm guessing it may get up to 108 or so.

Was 78 at 7:15 this morning.
