Direct TV guy just left after upgrading my system to HD this morning -- just in time too, since it started pouring rain a few minutes after he pulled away in his van! It looks as if I'm going to have to finally break down and upgrade my TV in the living room so I can watch my Vikings in HD this season -- when the guy saw the TV we have there he kind of looked at me as if to say, "WTF, dude?!"......

What's a Heavy Duty TV? Why would you need one?

He really would laugh at my rabbit ears.

I cant wait to get rid of Direct Tv! Had them since 2011 and it was alright at first, After the first year the price doubled but was to be expected after the 12 month special. Renewed with new equipment which was another 2 year contract. When we moved we had 2 months of the contract to go. Called them to get everything moved and they said since you are such a great customer we will move your stuff for free and would waive the 60 dollar fee to setup.

Well they moved us for free alright, and added another damn year on the contract! So now we have to wait until May next year to get done with them. We have no Local's available and have to pay $2.50 a piece to get a east coast Fox Channel and ABC Channel. Now they wont approve me for NBC so i miss all my Nascar races and have to watch them on the laptop.

$134.00 bucks a month should get me any damn channel i would ever need.

Weird -- DTV has been great for me and we get all of the local Houston channels as part of our standard package. However, TV service will always be a "one trick pony" for me -- whoever has the NFL Sunday Ticket will get my business! Gotta' be able to watch my Vikings.....

Heavy, heavy fog in East Texas this morning. Slow driving but sure beats the heat.

Heading to Burleson about 2:00 to pick up the wife and pup and then head to Bryan/College Station to watch the grandson play football. Then back to Burleson. Long day, but fun.

Got new/used headrests for the TL....the forward tilting anti whiplash ones were to far forward....so I did some research and found some 2008 Accord ones that fit perfectly and are tilted 1.5" further back...only costed $50 total to do the swap

Those headrests were about as bad as the Adrenalin sport trac ones...IMO
