CBS 11 Weather

When trying to explain to a visitor what it means to "drive across town" save this image on your phone so you can show it to them. This is the Metroplex at night. The yellow line is the outline of Connecticut.

Pretty cool. I got to where I don't even ask Fort Worth folks how far is it to somewhere. I always get told its not very far. A Hour later I'm finally at the destination.

Pretty amazing way to see how big the DFW area really is.....

I'm splurging and taking Monday and Tuesday off this week -- going to take some time and try to get the brakes sorted out on the '87 LTD so I can make the thing road-worthy again! Been so busy the last few months that I haven't had time to even look at it since I parked it!

Let's start over......

Trying to get the lawn mower to a repair shop, was going to rent a small trailer. They get $50 plus $100 deposit for 4 hours. To take it and pick it up, shop about 2 miles away, would cost $100. The John Deere dealer in Cleburne will pick up and deliver for $65. The mower is taking a little trip.

Happens in any of the monstrous metropolitan areas the locals just like to say that...

They're already numb to all the traffic
