Ever since doing the brakes on the cavalier a month or so ago, i have been getting a grinding noise when hitting the brake pedal at low speeds.. Took them off last week and everything seemed fine. No abnormal wear on the new rotors etc. This morning pulled them off again and greased the caliper bolts and put everything back together and its braking fine now. It was just a guess but looks like it is working for now.

We went 2 years ago and had a blast. Stayed 3 days and wished we could stay longer. This time we are doing 6 days. Rented a nice cabin away from the city.

Plan to see the Royal Gorge, Seven Falls, Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, Mountain Zoo and the Phantom Canyon Road which is one of the trails i was talking about.

Hoping mid October isn't to late weather wise. Really want to take the boy up to the top of pikes peak.

Omg....

This weekend I was leaving the big town and coming back home....stopped at a stop light and a Honda ricer pulled up next to me loaded with stickers all over his car with a coffee can muffler to top it off....looked like a "fast and the furious" reject wannabe....

After the stop light the right hand lane ends and merges with the left lane....I thought this is going to be FUN....put the TL in sport mode and turned off the TC.....

Turned out to be no match....his tranny slipped and I was gone...didn't impress the wife though

Fountains of Wayne - Stacy's Mom - YouTube

The lady meaning "Stacey" in the video or "Stacey's Mom" in the video......???

Based on the release date of "Welcome Interstate Managers" I'm going to guess the girl in the video is probably in her mid-to-late 20's by now?

By the way, that entire album is AWESOME -- I especially like the songs "Hey Julie" and "Valley Winter Song"! Katy Perry did a really nice cover of "Hackensack" that also appeared on this album back in the day! Fountains of Wayne is a highly overlooked band......

The wife drove the truck to work this morning, I asked if she would park In the back of the parking lot so it wouldn't get dinged up. Went to pick her up for lunch and this is how the truck was parked

Works for me!

"The truck has a 4.9l inline 6 cylinder v8 engine with a 5 speed transmission system that could produce 145 to 210hp" - just read that in an ad lol
