Palo Duro Canyon would be very different and is a fascinating place.

I'm thinking it's a chicken fajita evening at Hernandez. Got the waiter trained. I walk in and hold up 1 finger, he knows what I want. He also knows I want water, so don't have to go through the order process.

Had a little fun tonight with a new mustang and a chipped duramax. Mustang won, I came in about 3 car lengths behind him and the duramax came in third. Got a thumbs up from the mustang driver. . Duramax driver wouldn't look at either of us

Did the waiter answer back with his finger?

I'm assuming your company gives you a vehicle to use or do you just get an allowance of some type and use your own vehicle?

That looks pretty good and close enough that it's not a big to-do just to get there! I was also thinking of the Lost Pines area around Bastrop.
