We had to put a higher peaked roof over the original to comply with the subdivision code. The interior was finished but we added custom features. The craftsman overbuild was added on site...son in law drew the plans but the wife designed it. We did this in 5 months...we moved in and they were still finishing the outside. We sold our previous house faster then what we thought so we were rushed to get in.

Interesting -- most of the modular jobs I have been involved with have been more of the component variety -- tip-up wall sections, insulated foam panels, etc. Nothing that was anywhere close to being finished when it was delivered to the site.

Bathroom fixtures...cabinets...lighting came with it. We also added a lot of custom features like crown molding...flooring and better paint. Carport and garage were what to the longest to complete.

I would have never thought that was a modular house. Looks great.

All of your finishing touches made all the difference in the world. love the brick and were i live they are building custom houses that have the look of yours

I am 49 and next year we are building our dream house. I already have the property. man prices on a custom home are outrageous. Cant wait to never have a 2 story again!

Thanks...a lot of people can't believe it's a modular. We're the only one in the subdivision so we had to make it look good. The added features cost as much as the house!

The front porch..roof...carport and garage is what took extra time. We finished the house first and had to live and work around the rest.

Taken not long after moving in.

The house turned out very nice. What's a Cajun doing in a house like that!
