Gotta admit, good mileage, fits in tight places, and still a little bed. Could be a convenient commuter. I'd get a laugh out of it.

Granted, I'll take a crew cab long bed f-350 any day. Haha

Well, another year in the books boys -- may there be many more ahead of us......

It was a pretty laid-back New Years around our place. Took the family out for an early dinner -- our local Pappadeaux's was already packed to the gills at 5:30 so we ended up going to a little Italian place we like around the corner instead.

Ran a few errands on the way home and then after putting the kid to bed, the wife and I started our next season of "Nurse Jackie" on DVD. Got so into the first DVD we ended up watching it all the way through and didn't get to bed until around 2:00 in the morning -- I can't even remember the last time we stayed up that late......

Happy New Years! Stayed up until 2am trying to calm the dog down from all the fireworks. Damn I miss the country life style. Between the Christmas eve fight and shots fired to the fireworks last night I'm ready to start looking for a far away place again

There seemed to be an unusual amount of fireworks this year -- they were going off steady around our place from about 10:00 on last night! Didn't really bother us but we both commented on how crazy it was compared to other years......

This is how I spent my evening too. I grew up on a farm and we could always hear them in the distance, and even the neighborhood I was in before this one was pretty quiet. This new place had the loudest and most invasive fireworks I've ever experienced. My dog was not happy.

It's been starting to feel like "winter" here this past week and I'm already going stir crazy.
I took a ride to walnut beach in Ashtabula,Oh today to check out the lake. Had some good size waves. Most of them were coming over the break wall. It's about 180 mile round trip (which is the most amount of time I've spent in the truck since I've got it) and got 18.3 mpg with the cruise on 70 and wind on the way there and back.

It got covered in salt in Ohio so I had to come home and hose it down

Don't miss that Midwestern road salt one bit -- it's so much easier keeping a vehicle looking good and in decent condition when you don't have to battle that enemy every winter!

I would refuse to drive my pickup In salt. I'd buy a 500 to 1000 dollar beater every year just to keep the truck in good shape
