I found a Cavalier I think I'm going to get to keep my truck out of this salt crap. I was suppose to go look at it today but the guy called and said to hold off for a day or 2 because they got 3" of snow today and had no idea when it would clear up. I've never heard anyone around here act like 3" was the end of the world

I've got a little low-mileage '97 Cavalier that I picked up from my aunt last year when she went into a nursing home. Nothing better than having a little "econo-beater" to keep the wear, tear and mileage off your babies.....

I almost always had a beater when I had my 04. Then I got rid of it and got my Silverado and didn't really have any desire to get a beater. Now that I got the 13 I want to keep it in good shape and keep some miles off it. Next thing I have to do is build a garage to keep it in.

In hindsight I should've kept the Chevy, would have saved a lot of money. Besides the transmission going out

Really like my cavalier also. Reliable and parts are stupid cheap. I've put over 33k miles on it and put a hub, pads, rotors and 1 tire and maybe been out 300 bucks total

Bout to roll 176k and still going great

This ones a 94 with a little over 100,000 miles and supposedly it has new struts, brakes, head gasket and water pump. I guess the only thing wrong with it is the rocker panel on the drivers side has a hole in it. I really hope I hear back from him, it's a great deal if it's a half way decent car.

You're sick!

The BB had to be a lot of fun. Congrats on your daughter.

Got down to freezing this morning but with no wind so we have frost. Even that is unusual in this part of Louisiana. Tomorrow's high mid 60's!

New struts all the way around on that car is not cheap! I did it to my '97 this past summer, but since it only has a tad over 60k on the odometer right now I figure I'll get my money's worth out of the repair. I've put over 30k on it since I got it back in June 2014 and am hoping to run it up to 150k or more with very little trouble!
