I have no strong opinion on who I want to get into the Super Bowl this year -- kind of pulling for AZ since Larry Fitzgerald is a Minneapolis boy, but also kind of pulling for CAR since it would be nice for Jared Allen to finally make it to a Super Bowl.

On the AFC side I suppose a Super Bowl would be a nice way for Peyton Manning to go out, but I also appreciate what Tom Brady has done to overcome so many New England injuries this year.

Got the pot of chili cooking on the stove -- guess I'll just sit back and hope for competitive games that are fun to watch.....

 

Got a few inches here yesterday. Hopefully that's it for a while.

Yup, mine still has the OEM on it and its staying that way. Thought about replacing them but after I saw the price I said nope. Will just sway and jump around everywhere

turning out to be a beautiful week ahead here in TX. Mid 70s by week's end with LOTS of sun.

 

Going to make a quick run to Damon this weekend. After I get home from Athens Friday, plan on going down and then coming home Saturday night.

 

That's a pretty good ride down to Damon...Not too far from my nephew's ranch in between Rosharon and Angelton.

Yes it is. We go down to Waco, then down to Rosenburg. The kids live near the highway that goes from Damon to Rosharon, about half way between.

 

I think hwy 1462 is where his ranch is. Maybe Tankersley Road area. Last name is Collins. I was there this past September. He has the old Pearce estate...I had to look it up on Google Earth!!
