Let's start over......
I loved that v10, it basically got the same mileage empty or loaded Down.
Could you just cut them off and get new boots and/or wires if you had to? The plugs on my Cavalier have to be the easiest things in the world to get to, but I have never tried pulling the wires to see if they are stuck in the plug wells after all these years. I likely won't mess with mine until it is time for the 100k plug change, so I probably have a couple of years before I will need to deal with it on my '97.....

I've watched 50 YouTube videos and of course those show once the bolts are removed it just lifts up very easily.
That sucks, hope ya get it figured out!
Mine needs a thermostat, it's stuck open. The temp needle jumps around the first line on the gauge but won't go any higher and hardly makes any heat. I had to leave at 6:30 this morning to take the dog to the vet and it was -5 out. Once I got on the highway I opened my thermos of coffee and the Windows instantly fogged up and I couldn't get them to defog It was the longest 30 minute ride I've ever had
