Had quite an eventful day yesterday. First, we finally limited out on scallops for the first time this season! It was a beautiful day on the water and the scallops were everywhere.

Then on the way home, I stopped at a Publix and ran into an old friend in the parking lot!

A little dirty, but it still looks good for the most part. I parked next to it so I could stare at it for a few minutes. It seems so puny next to my truck now I would love to get it back one day. So many memories in that truck. It was good to see it's still alive and kicking!

We got the report from the insurance company on the condition of the 02 M Class. It was overall pretty good but some of the items were stretched. They put Swirl Marks on panels, didn't add the 3rd row seats, showed transmisson fluid to be discolored along with other things. Called them and asked if they actually could prove these claims. I was told i could set up an appointment with the adjuster and he would go over it with me.

Turns out he never checked the transmission fluid cause it doesn't have a stick, Couldn't find any swirls in the paint ( Correction detail done in April) and added the 3rd row seats. Also didn't put down the CD Player and the Bose Sound System. Ended up with $386.00 more than the initial inspection

Having a hard time finding another one, they gave me a list of M Classes available but its a month old and no one has them anymore. Wish there was a website that linked multiple dealers in one area.

Yep...with the silver frost trim. This was the last truck I ordered...it took over 4 months for me to get it. Wife had this Expedition in the same color but with the gold trim.

One of the first Expeditions on the road in September '96. Took a trip to Destin, Fla. and everywhere we stopped people were checking it out!

The Silver Frost you almost had to order but it was available as an accent color. Before I could pick it up at the dealer they had two people that wanted to buy it. One guy waited for me to show up and then tried to talk me out of it. After waiting 4 months for it to come in I just told him no thanks and left!

Hey, nice truck! I've always been fond of that generation. And that would've been awesome to have one of the first expeditions. Really neat story.

Rough day yesterday. Double memorial service for two local scouts that lost their lives last week. (One adult, one youth)

As well as us "celebrating" Christina's 25th Bday without her

Taken in October '96 and truck was 12 yrs old. 31x10.5x15 Cooper's on American Racing Outlaw wheels. Truck sat outside it's whole life and paint held up great. Did get the top of the cab painted once but the rest is factory paint. Bright Canyon Red and Dark Canyon Red Victoria paint scheme. Kind of rare for the two tone trucks at the time as it was an option.
