Let's start over......
Noticed a low tire last night and got the low tire pressure notice. Still had 24 lbs in it this morning so drove it to a small independent shop near me. Had three nails in that one tire. The guy aired up all my tires, recommended I run 40 lbs in this tire. Asked him what I owed, he said $12. Could not believe it. He did most of the work outside with a chill factor of 32. I gave him $20, you should have seen the smile and he shook my hand. Hard working Hispanic guy. I will buy my next set of tires from him.

I understand not wanting to mess up the Monoply game by giving out some of the money but what’s wrong with Confederate money? I had to explain to him who Jeff Davis was.

When I first finished college I was kind of lost in figuring out what careeer path I wanted to follow and seriously thought about going to tech school for auto mechanics. My mom absolutely FLIPPED OUT thinking it was ridiculous for me to finish my four year degree and then pursue “blue collar work” - me being the first college graduate in our family was a BIG DEAL to her and I think she thought working in the trades would be a sign that I really didn’t get my college degree. Looking back, I think that educational combination would have provided for a very interesting career path and I wish I hadn’t let my mother talk me out of it back in the day.....

Pretty happy, new motor is in the truck and already have a few miles under the belt. Taking it easy with a break-in tune, but it feels good.
I am also testing out a set of 2019 Raptor turbos (well half are my OEM turbos), I hope they aren't a bear to tune and are worth all the effort as they were not a easy and straight forward install.

im funding it with sweat equity.... somewhere nearing 200 hours right now. 200hr x $100 per hour is $20,000
