Just got back from a week of vacation up in Minnesota - the weather was picture perfect and was a welcome respite from the heat and humidity of Houston in August! Went to a couple of classic car shows, spent a day at the local amusement park, visited lots of my old haunts from when I was growing up back in the Midwest! Have plenty of work waiting for me now that I am back - pretty much booked out into mid-September looking at various jobs around the country.

Got the oil changed and a state inspection on the 2000 Expedition today. The lady at the lube place wants to buy it. It had 10,398 miles on it when I put it back in the garage. Had my 2014 150 inspected last week. It has just over 90,000 on it.

I’m going to have to check that thing out one of these days - very unusual for sure since most full-size SUV’s are purchased for heavy duty “family truckster” use! Probably won’t ever be worth a ton of money - but of course that’s what they used to say about station wagons and those have now become their own little niche in the collector car world!
