Doing OK down here. Wife finally retired and we've been taking some trips. Doing some camping and keeping up with the youngest grandson's baseball games. Hope you're doing well in NC. Great hearing from you!!

Glad to hear PawPaw! Congrats on your wife for retiring, that is awesome. My dad retired a few years back and he seems to be enjoying it. Expedition still looking good

Things are going well here, I purchased a house just outside the city limits here. Got a nice shop 24'x 32', a basement garage, and a built in carport to the house on a nice sized lot. Really enjoying it. The house is keeping me busy since it was an older gentleman who owned it and liked to tinker so undoing his "fixes" has been an adventure. Was vacant for a couple of years in addition to his failing health, so it's been rewarding seeing the improvements and cleaning the place up. Neighbors are mostly older and everyone seems to stay in this area for a very long time. So peaceful and established, but right down the road from all the busy stuff so best of all worlds.

Still driving my truck and the mustang - looking to finally snag a newer rig within a year or so and keep these trucked in the garage. Truck turns 20 in July and Mustang 18 in August. Wild LOL. The way prices are, kind of just want to snag something newer, but older (like a 11-17 F150 Screw 5.0) for cash and roll on. Being handy certainly allows you to do that. We'll see. Hanging in there for now.

Congrats on the house John. You usually can't do too bad with real estate. I like the North Carolina area and wife still keeps in touch with her sister in Charlotte. Went up there a little over 2 yrs ago and enjoyed it. We stayed in Banner Elk and her sister and brother in law joined us. Did the Biltmore thing and rode around the mountains around Banner Elk. Nice area and its close to Boone which is also nice. Nice Mustang and the '04 still looks great. Kind of wish I kept my '04 to give to one of my grandsons!! Take care and glad we got to chat on here!! Pic of my '04 Lariat that was a great truck. Put 100K miles on it and sold it.

Here's what the 295x70x17's looked like.

Thank you sir! Always glad to check in and see how you and the gang are doing. The prices are nutty for homes, especially around here on a percentage basis, but for your home, if you buy right I think it'll be a good decision. I am glad I saved and was waiting to pounce. I really like this area a lot. It's been such a blessing to be able to get down here and continue to enjoy it. Love the weather and many of the locals especially who are more my speed LOL.

I remember your '04 - I seem to recall the kid that bought it wrecked it? Damn shame. That was such a beautiful truck. I still love the design of these, which is my the 11-14 pulls at my heart strings. Same basic design but way more modern powertrain that is damn reliable.

Good memory about the kid wrecking it. His dad bought it for him and he promptly spun out in the rain after going through mud with the mud tires on and probably still caked. Take care...wife wants to go out for lunch so I'll be back later!!
