sounds like that fork is bent along with possible something frozen in there. Pull the inspection cover on the side and see whats going on, working on one itself isnt bad, pulling it would be the hard part.
Don't think it's the fork. All linkage seems to function and it feels normal Must be something frozen. I let it run awhile, thougt it might heat up and disengage but it didn't Guess I will be pulling the transmission to replace the clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing and pilot bushing. Fun. Also, the water pump is rumbling, need to replace that. I guess I have been lucky as long as it has been sitting. I still don't know why the clutch was working fine last time I drove it. Parked it in the garage and about a year later it won't work. I have a suspicion that the front shaft has stuck in the pilot bushing.

I heard a Southwest Ford ad on the radio. Hard to believe. This weekend and Monday, they have 15 XLTs for 50% off the sticker. They said if the sticker was 32,000, you pay 16,000.

Yeah, waiting on the sausage to finish cooking. Everything else is done. It's rough when the family is out of town.
