Good to get $$$!

Went to the range with my son and whacked some golf *****. I was working on a draw stroke off the tee, seemed to work. I was actually making the ball draw to the left by changing my swing. Weird. I even did it with the irons. Gonna take some practice to perfect. I have the fade/slice swing down already.

That makes you feel good inside when you know you can draw the ball or slice it whenever you want.

And yes good to get $$$, but I'm getting him to come into LA so I feel safe j/k

Very cool. Its no Cancun, but it is relaxing and it was the first beach my truck set tire on I have family down there who had a house on the beach in Port Bolivar until Ike came through.

Yeah. I hear you. I drive my truck on the beach too, even lowered last summer. The sand was pretty soft in areas, still have never got stuck with my 2wd truck.

Boy every year I see some dope out there on the beach, right where the road ends coming onto the beach, stuck worse than you can imagine. I stay away from the soft sand when I'm down there.

The key to entering and exiting the beach is wide turns. The key to soft sand is keep going, don't slow down, and keep the wheels straight, and avoid ruts. Usually the sand is moist and packed down good, well cared for by the crews. Last year was the first time there were any (just a few) dry areas where the vehicles drive.

I took the blazer out on the sand, kinda scary since the ruts were wider than the truck. I also dont know if the 4wd even works. We made it just fine through the couple miles down the beach. alot of shell and sand mix and it was pretty well packed down....

It's Sarah's birthday sunday so ill be doing alot of celebrating with her this weekend

Galveston is great. I go at least once - sometimes twice a year. Our family vacationed there a lot when I was a kid.
