I have not heard a diesel yet that could be described as purring. More like roaring. That is my biggest complaint. They always sound broken.

The new 6.4s are too quiet. And you'd probably crap your pants if you heard mine then...

I would probably get my wrenches and tear into it to fix what was slapping around in there.

Should have been in my office this afternoon. I had to get up and walk the office at 2:30 just to make sure everyone was still there it was so quiet.
