I think it'll be a very good race, better than last year.

Gotta run. Actually, drive to my buddies.

I have a split screen!

I haven't worked on it anymore. Put it back together last night so I can drive it. Will get the part before I tear into it again. I found one online but it's remanufactured. Says it's made of more flexible material and it does not come with the regulator. It's only $78 but I thought the regulator was what broke on them.

I've had a cable end snap and I've had a pulley fail. Motors still work, but I'd rather have new. I also have lubed the plastic sliders with white lithium grease where the sliders ride up and down the metal tracks. You'll see what I mean when you get one out.

The vise grip trick works pretty good, bit it's hard to get them in there.

I hope the vise grips dont distort the channel.

You'll be replacing them. Part of the replacement.

I'm confused. I thought that all I replaced is the motor.

Surely I don't replace the metal channel that the window slides up and down in, do I?

Yep. I have, twice. The cable pulleys are at the top of each one. They are junk.
