Just picked up a 99 F150 yesterday. Been wanting another truck for a while now. So I traded my fox body mustang for this truck. 165 k knocking on 166.

Red on grey extended cab, fleetside with tonneau cover.
Tonneau cover looks like crap IMO.
Not new to ford, used to be a ford tech so I shouldnt have any trouble working on it.

I cant figure out if I wanta drop it, or lift it. Its 2wd so I dunno. Not really into the whole idea of dropping it. But I know I wanta swap the ugly grill out for a honey comb style or billet.

Any suggestions for looks appreciated. Looks like an old grandpa truck as she sets.

 

Id say take off the bug guard, new grille,and headlights.

 

Kick the bug guard and the bed cover. Maybe toss on some rims and a decent grill and it would be a real head turner. Nice ride and welcome

 

A new grille and painted surround, Lightning heads, new wheels/tires, drop the step bars, lose the bug guard, tint the windows, exhaust and maybe lose the bed cover

Yeah I dont like the chrome grille, or the silver bottom. I def need new headlights. And Im not fond of the bedcover but its growing on me over the last week. Its there for the time being.
Where could I get a Red grill like the sport truck? Or do I have to have mine painted to match and then throw a billet in the middle?
