Guns and Pawn Shops

I bought a new gun from Bass Pro last week, but I saw a local Pawn shop with an abundance of shotguns. Would you buy one from them. I have been looking for another shotgun but, I have always bought mine new. What should I look for in a used shotgun?

check out fair prices on the internet... learn about the gun your wanting... inspect the gun your looking at. I will be looking at pawn shops for a few guns.. but I have found that there prices are high. Bartering is in order....

bring in a few snap caps to make sure that everything is working? you should be able to see if the pin is striking the primer this way. maybe put some marker on the cap to verify as well

Good luck. I bought an 1100 from one here and had to buy a $5 gas seal kit and it was good as new. I think it is a good way to go when getting one.

CheaperThanDirt has been ripping everyone off since the election. Sure it's capitalism, but it's also an ***-move on the owner's part. I suggest buying elsewhere for a truly reasonable price.

I'd like to suggest gunbroker.com (ebay, but for guns), riflegear.com, aimsurplus.com. I'll post more if I come up with any.
