Calling Shines & His Cronies (Bible Question)

May I also pay my respects to Mr. 1muddytruck.
I am an agnostic, I am comfortable with that and I do not try to foist my choice on anyone else. At the same time, I have complete respect for all of the religions out there and the folks that belong to them.
I tend to stay out of those threads that deal with religion primarily because there seems so little tolerance of the posters for a point of view, or a religious belief, that is different from their particular religion. There is no debate, only shouting.
If all of us had 1muddytruck's attitude, I think we would all be better off.
I enjoyed your post Sir and I thank you for it.
BTW, I could not listen to the video as my home office is being painted and my primary PC is covered in plastic and I am using a backup PC with no sound card. But....it doesn't matter, I'll listen to it later tonight.
Thanks again.

To bad about Shines, I was just giving him a hard time with my post' here. If I offended him, I didn't intend too. We simply believe in things differently. He has pointed that out before.
I know Habibi was just messing with him.:o
Maybe it had nothing to do with the teasing here.

Sigh...........
For about the one thousandth time on this Forum and others, nope, I ain't that Bill Murray.
Closest I come is that I am about as ugly and I am told I do have a sort of dry sense of humor but my delivery is bad.
There was a time when I sort of envied Bill when he was at the top of his form but it doesn't seem to be working out lately. His latest wife is suing for divorce, claiming alcohol and drug abuse as well as physical abuse. I feel fortunate that in my quiet life, I don't do drugs, I have tapered off on the booze and I am still married to my child bride, now 48 years and have never batted her around once. Thought about it, but she is part American Indian and most likely would have whipped my ***.
BTW, Stripes was another good Bill Murray flick.
Shines.................
In my eyes, this is a rather sad case. I can't recall lately reading posts from anyone else who seemed consumed with, well what, anger, frustration, I just don't know. I don't feel sorry for him so much as I feel sorry that anyone finds themself in a position where they seemingly have to lash out at anybody that does not totally accept their position.
Sadly, also, I respect his various positions on religion and politics even if I usually disagree with him but there was no dialogue to be had and if others "attacked" his positions even in a light way he couldn't seem to understand that anytime you have one more person in the room, at some point they are going to disagree about something.
Ah Well. Life goes on.

Goat Man:
Is Cialis a Drug???
If so, I lied, maybe that's what makes me do what I do.
Re: Mattlhew 10:14, I think I know where you are going, but it seems to me Shines didn't leave the city, he just hunkered down and kept on fighting.
And...I have no idea why he is gone and am not gonna try to find out.

You just can't drag people to salvation who are kicking and screaming and biting you.
