Don C

I do believe I have seen that Pisces2 Donzi running around. I have not been out in a while. My buddy lives in Ft Lauderdale and I have been swamped. My step-father just bought a 89 24' Bayliner Trophy walkaround cuddy with twin 125 Force outboards. I am not a big Bayliner fan and I hate Force outbaords. I think he is gonna junk the Forces for a couple of Yamaha 4strokes. I will be going out more often now. Seroius off shore fishing if the damn outboards don't leave us stranded. What the hell, the boat was cheap and in excellent condition.

Glad to see you make it to Sarasota, I actually live in Bradenton, just over the Sarasota/Manatee county line. Wellcraft has quite an outfit over there. My buddy was the warranty claims guy at Wellcraft for years, he probably worked there during your plant visit. If you ever need any info on your boat, let me know. He is a boat dictionary/encylopedia and a very good guy. And loves to shoot the ***** about anything aquatic.

As for the girls, well they are long gone. Let's just say we had a lot of fun with that boat.

Cheers

Oh and Don C

There is a local joke your parents may have heard. "everyones parents live in Sarasota, and their parents live in Venice" I don't know if you've been to Venice but if you have you know it is the truth. They have four lane stretches of road in the middle of nowhere with a 35 mph speed limit! I think the median age in Venice is 92! LOL

Cool

>>>>I have an 89 16ft Glassport fish and ski with a 115hp Mariner. There is nothing better than getting out on the lake early in the morning just before daylight when the water is peaceful and smooth as glass. It helps release a weeks worth of tension from work. Like it says in my profile I love to boat, fish, and ski. I live near six nice lakes all about an hour to an hour and forty-five minute drive from home. Most of them are in Tennessee and part of the TVA system. It's a tuff little boat, I submarined it through a large wave when I took it up to Lake St. Clair at Mitchell's Bay near Windsor, Canada on one of my fishing trips up there. Went in one side of the wave and out the other, damn boat was full of water, but thanks to a good bilge pump and a strong motor it came out of it.

>>>>Would like to get a new one, but it came down to a new truck or a new boat since I have to get the wife another car before long.........so I like my new F150 just fine.

Cool

I own a 1969 Chrysler Commodore. It is 23' on the title, 26' overall length. I love this boat, it has twin volvo I/O's. They are 120's but they really move this boat. This is a cabin cruiser so it isn't really meant for speed. It will criuse at 25 knots , and WOT is about 34 knots (40mph about). So I have been very happy with it.

This sounds like a put on but I bought it last may. It only had 22 hrs on it! It had been in the water 3 times and was last in the water in 1969. The owner had become incapacated shortly after purchasing the boat and the family had stored it indoors at a marina every since. Now the mother had also been put into a home and the family was selling it. This is how I found the boat and made it mine.
The trailer is also a 1969 chrysler. It is cool. I will post some pics when I am able to scan them in.
