FYI I had a chance to race my wife tonight as we happen to be going home in seperate trucks. She had the 4.6 and I had the 5.4
We went right off a light and I got 2 truck lengths on her pretty quick. At about mid second gear she pulled up a little, maybe a 1/2 length and we were about even till over 70 mph. I think that I was pulling on her slightly but I was paying more attention to the road and possible cops.

I think you'll do pretty good against the 98, if you both launch well , I think he'll take you. If he spins you'll probably beat him but it'll be close. Good Luck

Speaking from experience, a chip will still not be enough ........ Those 5.4s are tough.
