Love those cars. I almost bought a GNX back in 01 with less then 1k miles but decided in putting the extra money into a bigger house.

I hear ya. That's the same thing my guy said.

It pisses me off, how many people have heard of a house, garage, anything burning down because of a wood stove?

If your not a moron they are very safe.

I have a Reznor 45,000 btu forced air heater in my 24x24 garage. It works very well. They are fairly easy to install yourself too. You may or may not want to get a plumber to hook up the gas line for insurance reasons but you can hang it and run the exhaust with a buddy in fairly short order. I love my heated garage.

I normaly do this kind of thing on my own and dont tell anyone about it. I current have a 30k BTU propane convection heater in there that I run off of a 40# cylinder and it will keep at about 55 to 60 on the coldest days which is still warm enough for me to work in jeans and sweatshirt.

That is not a problem, the previous owner was a contractor, just didn't finish before the wife kicked him out, (long story). Ihave a gas line out there already, capped off, so extending it would not be a problem. Like I said, my neighbor is with a construction firm, so labor is close!

Thanks guys.

If you already have the gas line run to the garage you are laughing. I had to dig my own trench, 3' deep and 30' long, just me by hand and then have it inspected. My area has about a foot of topsoil then the rest was hard clay.

Oh yeah, when we dug the power lines for my neighbor's garage, we had to dig it back up because the a$$hole inspector found two places that were only 34" deep, instead of the required 36"!!! Thank God we had access tothe company's front loader and shovel. It's ALL clay around here.
