Question H.P.

I just added a Extang Tonneau cover to my 2000 F150. I was wondering how much horsepower I gained?

Regular Cab
Short bed

Custom Vortex Exhaust w/3 inch Gibson tips. Exits out the side like the Gibson Super Truck. Very loud!

No horsepower gain, but according to some you will pick up 2+ mpg.

Even though you have added weight, the friction loss in the engine & accessories is unchanged, the rolling resistance of the tires is unchanged, the frontal area of the truck is unchanged, and the coefficient of drag is SLIGHTLY improved, you will increase your mileage 15%.

Sure, you will.
