I'm a registered Republican only for primary purposes. In November I vote for whom I want.

But being from the Great State of New Jersey, the home of Thomas Edison, Albert Einstein, birth place of Steven Speilberg,
and Jerry Lewis. I nominate another great Garden Stater for the office of President,
the one who has it all, the one and only,

Dunbarton?
OH YEA! Let him run. I've got photo's that will derail him before the New Hampshire primary.

(and these same photo's will get the sitting Attourney General ousted as well!)

Republican on most issues. I try to keep an open mind on issues I feel strongly about.

Gun control - against (I truly commit that the day I give up my firearm is the day it is pried from my cold, dead fingers)
Right to choose - for
Tax Reduction - for
Less Gov. intervention - for
Reasonable Environmental Protection - for
Education - for
Do nothing social programs - against
Job training - for

As is obvious, I have beliefs that cross party lines, so I vote for the rep. I feel best supports my issues.

I believe that this country should be prime ground for those who are willing to work for what they get. No matter race, creed, religious belief, or social status.

You work - You get what you earn!

Just my humble opinion.

I'm a conservative libertarian. I vote for the candidate the most closely matches my views. Generally, that would exclude most Democrats as they tend to be anti-libertarian, or socialist.

At http://selectsmart.com you can take a poll and see who you most closely match up with. Before Bob Smith dropped, he was at the top of my list. Here it is now...

86 Alan Keyes
82 George W. Bush
82 Harry Browne
81 Howard Phillips
79 Patrick J. (Pat) Buchanan
78 Malcolm (Steve) Forbes Jr.
76 Gary L. Bauer
75 Orrin Hatch
67 John S. McCain
47 John Hagelin
23 Donald Trump
16 Albert Gore Jr.
15 David McReynolds
14 Bill Bradley
6 Ralph Nader
2 Warren Beatty

- Senator Al Gore, from his 1992 book, Earth in the Balance

- Vice Perpetrator Algore in a 1999 speech to the Economic Club of Detroit.

I'm getting really tired of ALL politickers, I'd like to knock 'em all in the head and start over. What I'd really like instead of the usual presidential elections this year, is a presidential Roman death match! Put Gore, Bradley, Bush and McCain in a pit and let 'em fight it out, no holds barred. Last man standing gets the presidency. As a side show, we could have Jesse Ventura come out and pile drive Steve Forbes.

I am a registered Democrat since 1978. I agree with dlsipe on all that he posted except lower taxes. I think the surpluses should lower the deficit and bail out medicare and Social Security. I voting for McCain this year, he is the only Republican who makes sense. Bush is a "Wheeler Dealer" from a wealthy family who is so far out of touch with the middle class it's scarey. Gore is a typical politcian, ask him a question and you get anything but the answer. I voted for George Bush Sr when he ran against Clinton, I can't say the same for George W. I make a 6 figure income and I know that Bush would certainly favor my income bracket but for the majority of Americans he's a typical politician. I've been researching all the candidates and I can't believe anyone, excuding wealthy, could in good conscience vote for George W. Bush.

Ford Man I would like to see Donald Trump get pile driven. Any millionaire who declares bankruptcy because of his greed should be put in a steel cage with a $25,000 ayear county road worker and fight to the death.
