Orchard Park police are investigating a particularly gruesome killing, the beheading of a woman, after her husband — an influential member of the local Muslim community — reported her death to police Thursday.

Muzzammil Hassan is the founder and chief executive officer of Bridges TV, which he launched in 2004, amid hopes that it would help portray Muslims in a more positive light.

If the dude's name was Tyler Hicks from Bunghole, Texas, and he was a Born Again Christian, would you have posted the link? Cmon, be an honest injun, would ya?

If the answer is no, which I suspect it is, then why would you feel compelled to post this story?

I agree way to many wacko's in this world of all races. It was a big story here in buffalo but i'll bet she had it coming!!!. I am just an old irish boy but i've sharpened many a knife over the years after hearing the siren going off...

Assuming of course that Mr. Tyler Hicks from Bunghole, Texas spent a great deal of time attempting to portray Born Again Christians as a group of peace loving, non-sexist, people who don't have a penchant for beheading those who they feel are sinful. Irony and hypocrisy have always made for great stories.

 

I would have too, but that's because I think ALL religions are an elitist social club where people just stroke each other and tell each other how great they are.

If you need that constant positive reinforcement because you're weak-minded or needy, then hey, the club is a perfect place for 'those' type of people.


Myself, I don't need people telling me how great I am, I already know.

I believe he posted the story because it is not every day that someone is beheaded in the United States. Also, I would like you to find one story of a "Born Again Christian" that has cut his wife's head off for religious reasons. If you can show me one in the last several hundred years I would be suprised. I am not saying that Christians do not commit crimes, only that they will not rip the head off of their family members in the name of God.

I was going to saythe same thing, lol, but was worried people would look at it as being distasteful.

Maybe Abdullah had a real bad day, came home from work, and his wife wouldn't shut her pie hole.
Maybe he said "listen baitch, **** or I'll cut your head off"
Obviously she didn't heed his warnings, and the dude lost it.

We never have any sympathy for the guy that actually does the chopping, we don't know what kind of day the poor wee chump had.

So ya, let's get all the details before we cast any judgement.

 

Honestly, I think it greatly transcends religion...as I don't fully classify Islam as a religion (as if my system of classification/way of thinking matters).

Because of his role in society, I'd say that this is more on par with David Duke claiming that not all white supremacists are violent psychopaths, and then lynching his black neighbor....or Jesse Jackson claiming that not all black males are dangerous and irresponsible, and then shooting a sideways 9mm at his pregnant girlfriend.

It is the irony of the situation, as well as the fact that it really makes one think...if someone so dedicated to removing these prejudices from society has this behavior so ingrained into them, does that not make anyone reconsider the fact that maybe these preconceptions and generalizations are well founded?

Its food for thought.



Personally, if I thought I had a couple dozen virgins waiting for me, I'd probably lose the nagging bitch too. But I was raised in a religion that stressed compassion and compromise, so I'm forced to put all such thoughts aside and drink instead.

 

Saying the dude cut her head off 'in the name of God' is nothing more than pure speculation.

The story shows she was divorcing his ***, the dude couldn't stand the thought of her leaving him, and that's how he dealt with it.
Nowhere does anything show or say 'this was in the name of God'.

As far as s2krn goes, I like the dude, but he knows that he's a chit disturber from way back, and he knows that I know that he is.
I like to get into it with him once in a while because someone's got to keep him honest.


I'm saying he posted the story to rip on Muslims. Why? I'm not really sure, my only guess is he hates Muslims and paints them all with the same brush, and as long as I'm here, I don't ever have a problem saying doing that is not only wrong but irresponsible.

Myself, I hate all religions equally, I don't just pick on one or two.

 

Habibi i am not here to be tasteful.. I was just expressing my thoughts on how SOME and i say some woman can drive a man to do strange things. I had a friend that was one of those men he would do whatever he was told or she would sew up the crack for a week or two.

He finally cracked and let her have it, and when it came out of his mouth he was a man possessed, i never heard language like his but i understood.

He has another woman now and sees his kids every other weekend.
