Yep, I think it was a joke---but the rich kids that I have had as students generally either
A) know the value of a buck and have worked for their stuff---daddy doesn't give it to them, or
B) Get everything handed to them and don't have to work a minute...they are the ones that wreck their vehicles repatedly and have daddy get them another (usually better)
Common sense would say, "Hell, I worked hard for my money and busted my rear end to get to where I am, I want my kids to do the same"...but some people don't have that common sense.

Im glad you can see both view points. Sure I have a nice truck, but have a full time job to pay for the mods. I worked almost 30 hours a week during the school year as well. Now there are kids like B as well. I have a good friend of mine that is 18 and has had a h3, a 2007 lexus is 250, and now a 2009 lexus is 250. In 2 years...

Because not all kids are like that. I have had my truck since sept of 07 and have not had a single issue. I have modded it, fixed it when it broke, and loved it. If I can afford to my child will have a good vehicle (as long as they deserve it). Its not gonna be a new car, but it will be reliable and good.

i saw it a while back, i think its fake. or that kids a *****. first thing i woulda hit was the lights and windows to cause the most damage the quickest.
and i agree w/ what was said some rich kids know the value of a dollar while others do not. my parents bought my truck, i paid for every single mod. me and my friend discussed this for like 4 hours the other night.
this girl the other day said her parents banked last year from the high gas prices. i kept my mouth shut just to not cause for argument in the vehicle, but the minute she got out i called BS. my dad said they met the qouta by like march or may of last year at his refinery he managed and by the end of the year they had lost it all due to gas prices. this girl really just pushed me my friend's buttons. i can't comprehend out some kids have no concept of money. ill admit im spoiled, but i understand money doesn't grow on trees and for the most part if i want something i have to pay for it.
