Any word back from the dealer?

I really believe it's time for you to give up vehicle ownership and start taking the bus. Maybe you just have incredible bad luck and end up with all the lemons but given just what you've posted here I don't think it's all bad luck.

I've been driving for 22 years and have yet to have even 1 tranny blow on me, somehow you went through FOUR in your Escape?! We also can't forget the Edge you almost destroyed while your F150 was in the shop. It seems you have some type of catastrophic failure every month, it's never anything small.

Sucks about your new purchase, but I'm gonna put this out there: were you maybe shifting it like a manual? You know, pull it down into "1" then move it manually through each range back into "D"? Especially when you got to the hills? Maybe you wanted more control like you would have in your F150 in that situation? Manually shifting that auto up and down as you rolled through those hills?

I'm not trying to be a *****, but just based on what you've posted around here, it's getting very hard to believe all the problems are a defect on the vehicle in question.

Maybe I'm missing something, but I can swear that in the other thread I asked if it had a MANUAL transmission - and you said YES. If it really is an automatic, you got what you asked for for - a crappy transmission.

I got the truck back... go to find out it was leaking transmission fluid out on to the flywheel/clutch from the input shaft which then contaminated the whole thing.

But the sad thing is, the thing popped out of gear a few times already.

Those Dodges are horrible.

I'm getting rid of it. Plus the diesel wasn't as exciting as I thought it would've been. It's actually quite annoying.

Probably no warranty due to it having 175,000 miles on it.

I know here in NY a dealer isnt required to give a warranty on a vehicle with 100k or more miles.

Same words spoken here. Maybe you should learn how to take it easy or atleast spot a lemon.
