Stormy night...

It was bit windy last night during a severe thunderstorm. Hell of a cool lightning show. Lost power for 4-5 hours. All this damage was less than a mile from my house. Some of the pics are of the local golf course.

Storms are awesome, we're getting some pretty good ones up my way. Looking forward to getting home and sitting on the front porch watching while enjoying a cold one.

That's what the wife said. Looks like a lightning hit. The branches are fallen the same direction as the others, fell the way the wind was blowing. Honestly I think it's from the crap-o wood from the type of tree it is, a bradford pear. I hate those trees. They always snap off in high winds.

Right now, in the northern part of the Buckeye state, we have had Tornado warnings, Severe Thunderstorm warnings, and now have a Flashflood warning, as well.

I think we got part of that storm today. When I got home there was no electricity or water. Electricity is back on, but still no water. Lots of wind and lightning here too.

Ya'll can have the bad weather, we get more than our share down here with the hurricanes. All of our weak trees have been knocked down in the past 4 year's.

I remember seeing pictures of my aunt standing in their yard (in RoundRock) with ice all over their trees.............in June or July. WTF
