Paranormal Activity
Who saw this over the weekend?
I did. Thought it maybe was really "scary" but I sure enjoyed watching it, so I'd say it was a great movie..
There's to many crap "horror" movies shoveled out into theatres, so I was quite excited to see one that didn't follow the typical over done hollywood stereotypes which I believe are mostly just done for shock value. This movie for me was more thrilling then scary, and it was fun to talk about after seeing. The buzz in the theatre as the movie progressed was fun to hear too..
Whaddya think?
EDIT:
*SPOILERS AHEAD*

Paranormal activity was sweet! I thought it was pretty original, and the part where she threw him at the camera was insane.. was not expecting that. Have any of you seen the real ending to it?? Supposedly her jumping at the camera is a hollywood thing.

Rather then a horror based on trying to shock you with scenic brutality and "make you jump" effects, it makes you stay in the video camera, only being able to see whats being shot, wether the characters leave the room or looking where the camera is pointing - if you like it or not. Gives you a feeling of costerphobic(sp?) feeling.
Althought some will dispute, this movie did a far better job then The Blair Witch Project. I think more people were sea sick then scared.
