I was driving down the highway this afternoon, in a Caravan. I saw out of the corner of my eye a big Deer about to run right into the side of the van.
About that time a 1 Ton ford work truck was going the other way. All I heard was a loud bang. So I turned around and went back to see, but the truck kept going. I think he did had a pipe grill on the front of the truck.
Sure enough a pretty good size 8 point laying in the ditch.
If it were not for the truck, I would have got that deer broad side.
Although when the deer was jumping across the highway, he looked much bigger.

 

ha seems like you had some luck on your side.......so did you take the deer? haha

 

brother had something similar happen. except he did get broad sided. we laugh at it now.

 

shoulda at least cut off the back straps....thems good
