I think I'm in love too and I've only seen pictures of it.

I've never rode in anything that pins you against the seat. I guess I didn't realize a Mustang would do that. I got half a notion to come to Louisiana just to go for a ride in it.

Very nice ride! Makes me miss my 04 and 02 GT's even more! If you need any ideas let me know and I'll post a few pictures of my old 04! I traded it for the 150! Ehh... miss it dearly!

Gratz on making one of your dreams come true!

This is the first v8 mustang i've ever rode in all the others were v6's. Come on down here man i'm alway's interested in meeting member's from the site. Just bring some gas money and a tent to sleep in the back yard. We even have an outdoor cat you can cuddle with.

I really need to find out the extense of the mod's done to this thing in case something ever breaks I won't be replacing it with a stock part. I've never driven a stock GT before so it's hard to say just how fast this thing is but if a stock one run's nearly this fast then i've really been underestimating these car's over the years. I know they aren't slow but this thing litterally get's to 130mph in the blink of an eye. I know the speedometer isn't fooling me cause I've compared it to my GPS and it reads 1mph slower than the gps. The g-forces also pin you to the seat hard. I'm in love with this thing!
Search the web for some local Mustang forums and find out what Speed/Performance shops are in your area and who everyone sugest. Once you find some shops call them and if they deal with the Xcal2 they can handle all your needs. If I'm not mistaken I believe they can even e-mail you a new tune at which time you download it to your unit and load it up in the car.

Dropping the clutch at 2500 and only laying 10' of rubber...nice. I always wanted to get a good set of drag radials when I had mine. Sounds like your having yourself a good ole time with her, so when are you going to drop in a Supercharger?

glad i'm not alone! It was justified as my wife and I had just bought a house and decided that a truck would be more practicle than a sports car that rarely saw more than 3k miles a year!

I have however since then picked up another... This one will require years of TLC though... got me a 1965 Fastback A-code car! Needs resto!

BTW, that balancer you mentioned that is not stock, looks like its part of a Steeda underdrive pulley kit. Good luck with the car.

I'm gonna strengthen the internals of the motor before adding any boost. It will be a few years down the road. It mostly depends on how long this motor will last. The closest speed shop I can find around here is in Baton Rouge,LA. Theirs gotta be one a little bit closer though.
