Las Vegas trip

We are headed to vegas in september for a wedding and here are the choices of hotels to stay at. Seeing if you guys have any experiance with these hotels. There is the MGM Grand, Excaliber, Luxor, Pink Flamingo. Which one of these are the nicer hotels. Let me know the good and bad.

Thanks guys

Luxor is nice,if you like being in a Pyramid......
I've stayed there,it's OK if you want to be at the South end of the Strip.
I'll be there in 3 weeks and I can ask some of my friends that live there what they think.
Are you "locked in" to only those?

I've stayed at the Excalibur about 15 years ago so I don't remember a whole lot about it. I was decent enough. I stayed at the Luxor a few weeks ago. It's big. If you want to go to the food court for a late bite be prepared for a 10 minute hike. Nothing special about either one and I've stayed in alot worse.

If you have time while your in town, check out the cars at the Imperial Palace.
You can get free passes in front of the Hotel.

Out of those choices, I would go with the Luxor or MGM. I have not stayed at any them personally, but I know people who have and they recommended the those 2.

My wife and I went there a few years ago and stayed at Mandalay Bay, it was AWESOME!!!!!

i have been to vegas so many times. my family lives there and my dad works at the Mirage. the MGM would be a good bet. there is a tram you can ride at the back and it will take you over to one of the hotels by Paris. its in the middle of the new strip.

Bellagio has one of the best if not the best location, and is one of the nicest.

Never stayed there, but have been through and eaten at a few of the restaruants. It's quite a place.

If you don't mind spending a small fortune for a steak dinner, the Prime Steakhouse in Bellagio is the ticket. Great steak, even greater price.

I never stayed there but using "internet search engines" I found that many folks say, "it's a swell place to stay." Try the many "internet search engines" next time....it works.

Bellagio is much nicer than any of the other choices you threw out there. They have a water show in front of the hotel at various times of the day. Did you see the movie "Ocean's Eleven"? I am pretty sure that was filmed at the Bellagio or was supposed to have taken place at the Bellagio. It is also in the center of the strip, so you can go either way pretty easy.

Congrats on doing it right on your first trip!

Ive been down 3 times in the last couple years. The Bellagio is easily top 3 on the strip. Make sure you catch one of their fountain shows, they are pretty cool.

Is it too late to have you go into Caesar's Palace and ask the front desk clerk if Caesar really lived there?
