Congressmen get threats from crazies all the time, the Dems are trying to use these to smear their political opponents, and save their collective asses come election day. We don't even know where these threats really come from yet. For all we know, there's some leftist group out there pretending to be something they aren't to muddy the waters. I'm not saying that's the case (There are plenty of crazies to go around on both sides.), but it's as good a theory as any at this point.
