Does anyone here shave their head bald? If so, what kind of razor are you using? I have been shaving my head bald for like 10 or 12 years now and it seems like the razors i use anymore are worthless. I am going through two or three blades in one shaving.

Stupid thread, I know, but I am curious to see what others have been using.

 

I've been shaving my head for about 3 to 4 years. The easiest razor for me to use the the ones from the Head Blade company. For the most part the razors stay sharp for awhile but occasionally there are some dull ones. I also like their Headslick shaving cream too.

I use this one along with the triple blades. They can also be found at some Walmarts, CVS, & Walgreens. Some stores carry the product and other don't.

A skin head thread, hey can't you use Nair ? Or soak in Lacquer thinner ?

 

I have never seen the Head Blade stuff. I typically use Bics, Mach 3's, and now the Quattro stuff. I dont really see the need for the wheels as I have been doing it so long, I know where the potential knick spots are going to be and can practically shave in the dark. My main problem is, it seems that the hair just clogs the blades up and then they are good for nothing. I guess as I get older, the hair is getting thinner but thicker, if that makes any sense.

As for the Nair, I actually did try it a few times with very limited success.

 

I have a bud that shaves his. (I probably should, since there isn't much up there anymore anyway.) He just goes to the barbershop once a week. He says he has less ingrown hairs since he gave up shaving it himself. The barber uses a straight razor. I guess, if you're going to shave it more than once a week, this could get expensive.

 

Yep that is what my dad has used for a while. And he also used their HeadBlade shaving cream stuff.

 

I use the personna 5 blade shaver. Lasts about 2 weeks of shaving 3 times a week. I have been doing it for about 5 years. No bumps or cuts.

 

FYI moisture is what dulls/ruins a razor....keep them dry(or dry them when done) and they will alot longer......

 

I have been shaving my head for about five years now even though im 21, but I use the mach 5 razors, seem to get about two to three head shaves with one razor and never get any cuts or bumps.

 

I've been shaving my head for almost 6 years. I use a Gillette Fusion. I used to use a Mach IV.

I shave my head every other day and a Fusion blade lasts me about a month. I purchase them in quantity from Ebay.
