I've got a set of the michelins on mine for about a year but they now leave a streak right in my eyeline on the down sweep. I think the springs in my wiper arms are getting weak because even with wings on the wiper arms if I'm doing more than 65mph they lift.

Ive had the Bosch Icons for about a year, and they need replaced. All they do is smear water across the window.
Other than that ive been happy with them. Does Bosch warranty the blades for any length of time?

3 words... PIAA Super Silicons

Someone posted a link on here one time when they were on sale at amazon for $10/each. They were great. But unfortunately, I got some paint overspray on my truck and it tore the blades up. They are usually $25/each so try to catch them on sale. I would love to have these again. Best set I ever owned on any vehicle.

Bosch, I put mine on about two years ago and even use them in the winters we get here and they still wipe perfectly even everytime it rains.. like there brand new. Definitely a little more expensive but worth it over the time they will last.

WE had quite a bit of rain with in the last 3 days. So far the Rain X are working very well. My real complaint is how long will they last? We'll see. So far, so good.

if you rain x your windshield then you can use the cheap ones just fine.

Bosch Icons, -over 2 years old. Work awesome, - never had a set that lasted this long. They work like new , never streak. Someone did something right there that's for sure.

If you use decent wiper fluid everytime you swipe your blades and/or rain-x your glass the life of your wipers will most likely double. Running the wipers on dry glass is what really hurts the longevity.

I don't even know what cheap blades are on my truck, I bought the truck and over a year ago and thought they sucked, started using the rain-x fluid and rain-x'ed the glass and have no intention of changing out the blades until they deteriorate

Update on wipers.

So far the RainX are fantastic. I also tried some different washer fluid over the standard blue stuff. Peak Eco washer fluid. It is great. Actually CLEANS stuff off the windshield and NO streaks at all. Love the stuff. I'm just saying...
