Wiper Blades...anyone make any worth anything?

I've tried Pylons...crap!

Annco...not much better.

Michelin...good at first then crap.

Got some RainX Blades yesterday to try.

Next will try Bosch if need be.

What are you guys using that work and last at least 4-6 months?

Bosch Icons. I have the Rainx equivalent to the Icons. Will be going back to Icons.

Funny you ask this. I've got 3 vehicles I maintain and I just had to replace the wiper blades on all of them! They weren't that old either! I blame the short life span to the ridiculous amounts of snow fall we received in MD this past winter.

Anyway, I have always used Rain-X brand, but they are damn expensive. I went with them again as they seem to perform great.

I will put nothing but Bosch Icons on my truck and all of our other family vehicles. They are a little expensive at 20 bucks per side but to me they are damn worth it.

Also, Ford must agree because the replacement blades for my sister's 2008 Escape are pretty much Motorcraft branded icons that use different mounting hardware.

I would say that there is NO such thing as a perfect wiper blade, but I have never tried the Bosch Icons...

You've been missing out then.

The only problem I have ever had is if I don't drive for a couple days in winter and snow/ice gets a chance to melt and refreeze on the windshield. It can get inside the clips and the expanding ice can sometimes pop them open. This won't affect performance and you can keep driving it it happens while you are driving. I've driven at 70MPH with them popped and they still worked fine and stay there until I got home where I re snapped them.

I had Bosch Excel and the scratchted my windshield. You can see the wiper pattern on both sides. Bought some cheap RainX and they are doing great. Had them about a year.

I tried the rain x and didn't like them at all. They lasted about a month.
