What has the world come to? People are now concerned about adhesive from their "bed rugs" damaging the paint IN the BEDS of their trucks? Sheesh. I remember when I first damaged the paint in my bed. It was the very next weekend after I bought my truck new. A skid loader dumped two buckets of stone in my truck. Then I damaged it more while removing the stone with a flat metal shovel. I was proud, not concerned.

Sorry for the bump guys, I missed the party in the now-closed Sick of getting blinded by "H.I.D.'s" thread.
Quoting one of the last posts:
First off, I cannot believe someone is this naive. Especially the "its better than idiots leaving their high beams on" part. Completely ignoring the fact that an HID capsule sits in the SAME EXACT SPOT as a high-beam filament in a normal halogen bulb, it is emitting TWICE as much power as a high beam halogen. This guy completely just stepped on his own foot, twice.
Not to mention that fluted lense housing is sending just about all of his light vertical. I cannot fathom the amount of facepalms it would take to bring this guy into perspective.

Okay, he is a new guy but....
Back story, he has an XL and wanted to get a painted upper bumper for his truck. We posted some links and suggestions and that was his solution...
