Also he's a likeable good old boy who doesn't whine all the time like some other drivers. That's enough for me to like him.But he will never be my favorite because he drives a Chebby.

Tony and Mark are also having mediocre seasons.Hopefully they don't become consistant at being mediocre too. However, Mark is over the hill so I think he has reached that point already.

If your going to quote stats at least get it right. (Fixed it for you, direct from NASCAR.com)

2 top 5s, 6 top 10s, 11 top 15s, 68 laps lead, 1 pole, 11th in points. Definately not mediocre. Not the greatest in the history of NASCAR but I don't know anyone saying Junior is the greatest. But we both know that he will never be good enough for you or any of the Junior haters, even if he won 15 championships. Haters always hate!

Yea mark is so over the hill that he won 5 or 6 races last year . Reason mark is so far back in points is he has crappy luck (wrecks).

Crappy Luck? I seem to remember posts from last season about Junior having a bit of crappy luck last year too (Wrecks, part failures, DNFs etc) but you wouldn't hear any of that, you blamed it ALL on him being mediocre. If luck is a part of Martins crappy 2010 it is just as much a part of Juniors crappy 2009 then. Or are you one of those guys that only uses things when they suit your opinion? (or do you just use incorrect stats, like in post #16?) Junior had 5 DNFs in 2009 and a couple wrecks/parts failures that put him laps down for a handful of races. (The 48/24 only had 1 DNF each in 2009, just for a reference.) He also had alot of races where he just didn't get it done. 2009 was by far Juniors worst year career wise, but don't make it out like thats how he has been doing his whole career.

Nobody expects or really thinks that Junior is/will be the best ever, nobody thinks he is going to be as good as his dad. Junior is good though. The only people Junior isn't good enough for are the haters who will never be satisfied no matter how well he does.

I did think your Junior joke was pretty funny though, but I will root for him even if he finishes 43rd every week. I ain't one of those bandwagon jumpers...There are several good drivers whose winless streaks are getting kinda long (Junior, Biffle, Edwards, Gordon, JPM...)

You listen to anyone elses radio? They all whine when the cars aren't how they like them. Gordon, Stewart, Edwards, JPM have all whined, heck I even heard Jimmie whine on his radio when the 48 was in their "slump" a few weeks ago.

Jr. fans will never learn. He will never be as good as his Dad was. That's the only reason you guys like him because of his dad. And I liked his dad. He was a true Nascar racer. Jr., not so. He's in it for the money that the fans bring him.

^^x2^^ I liked to watch Sr race but didnt like him. He was a crooked sob on the track but he did make for some interesting racing. Jr reminds me of Kyle Petty, only reason he is somewhat popular is because of daddy

to compare jr. to kyle petty may be the biggest insult i've ever heard...some of you people are just too stubborn and set in your ways to realize that people like jr for way more than just what he does on the track...that is all i have to say b/c my time is not worth spent arguing with some of you
